Rami Malek is reportedly trying to transfer to London after falling in love with town while filming Bohemian Rhapsody.
The actor, who was awarded the Finest Actor gong on the BAFTAs on Sunday (10Feb19) for his efficiency as outlandish Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, made “friends for life” while making the film, and even fell in love with his girlfriend and co-star, Lucy Boynton.
When requested about his most memorable second while taking part in the rocker in the the musical biopic, the Mr. Robotic star stated it was recreating Queen’s iconic efficiency at Stay Assist in 1985.
“We call it our own band now,” he stated of Gwilym Lee, who performed Brian Might, and Ben Hardy, who performed Roger Taylor. “Beginning the film with Live Aid was a baptism by fire. We just galvanised ourselves as a group and that was it.”
“I’ve formed some of the best friends of my life from this film,” Rami gushed.
The 37-year-old is favorite to scoop the Oscar for Finest Actor on the ceremony later this month, after profitable a Golden Globe and a SAG Award for his beautiful flip as Freddie, who died in 1991 on the age of 45 from issues from AIDS.
And Rami confessed that making the film was considered one of his best achievements.
“We’ve been able to share this with Brian May and Roger Taylor and, shooting here (in London) was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life,” he shared. “I got to go from Abbey Road Studios, Air Studios. See all of London and fall in love with it to a point where I’m now looking for a place to live here.”
